This is coming late, but here is the recording of my junior recital! My good friend, amazing pianist, composer and improviser Matt Blair was my main cohort in this endeavor. Rather than splitting up the hour into two segments for each of our junior recitals, we co-composed a 50+ minute piece for a band of 15 musicians (all of the players that we are fortunate enough to play with at Lawrence University).
The piece is continuous, but here is a rough track listing:
Black Trees – (Blair) – 0:00
The Good Rain (Genualdi)- 3:50
Elo (Blair)- 9:00
Blue (Genualdi)- 16:00
Blinding Light (Genualdi)- 21:45
Frenzy (Blair)- 26:30
Dune (Genualdi) – 32:30
Trapped Intro, Piano Solo (Blair)- 35:50
